Tarot Tuesday

Hello my lovelies 🖤 and welcome.

The tarot has been at my fingertips (pun intended 😽) for about half of my life now. And from as far back as I can remember, it's always rang true and sometimes hit a nerve that wasn't always what I wanted to hear, but rather needed to.

With the multitude of decks, spreads, and sometimes even interpretations, reading can be daunting, confusing and even overwhelming. I find that when we use more of our intuition, it can draw a clearer picture. Even by writing down what was drawn, coming back to that can sometimes reveal what we perhaps didn't want to see in the first place.

Today I'm drawing a few cards to guide us through our week. Take it as you will. Again, using intuition as to which path to take, I'm doing a Hanged Man’s Draw. For the collective as they say. If you are drawn here, I hope it speaks to you.

I initially see the figure with the one wand, struggling, defending, with the the remaining six wands in the foreground. And the figure is on a mountain, maybe an Island. - Are you feeling isolated?.. Having to defend or justify yourself? Maybe there was a quarrel?… Do you need to take a stand for what you believe in? Maybe it's just hard to keep on top of so many obligations and conflicts?..

Oddly enough, this card is also associated with mid-august.

Pentacles are the money suit. 10 is the highest number. This card is also about family, security, prosperity. Perhaps an inheritance or even profitable business venture or other partnership. Do keep in mind though that wealth is not only measured in monetary gain, but in spiritual and emotional aspects as well.

And so from struggle to prosperity… perhaps as the hanged man himself shows… surrender is the key. Make peace with uncertainty. Knowing that change is inevitable, as the old must die to create the new.
